Company Profile

Founded in 2024 by core members of a Shenzhen Peacock Plan innovation and entrepreneurship team, Qinghui Ocean Tech Co., Ltd. is a high-tech company focused on offshore engineering equipment development and commercialization.

Drawing on the research resources of the Subsea Technology Research Center at the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, QOT provides offshore engineering services and develops specialist equipment.

Expert Team

Our multidisciplinary team covers naval architecture, mooring, risers, offshore installation and subsea structures.

Jason Liu

Technical Advisor, SURF Engineering Jason has 20 years of experience in floating systems, subsea risers and umbilicals. He has worked at Aker Solutions, Technip, WorleyParsons and COOEC. He holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Ocean Engineering from MIT.

Ryan Wu

Technical Advisor, Naval Architecture and Mooring Ryan is a naval architect and mooring engineer with more than 15 years of experience in offshore oil and gas and floating wind. His academic research focuses on wave-structure interaction. He holds a B.S. in Naval Architecture from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Ph.D. in Ocean Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Ivory He

Project Director, Offshore Installation Ivory has more than 15 years of experience in offshore and subsea installation, including mooring hook-up and rigid and flexible pipeline installation engineering. He has worked at EMAS and Subsea 7. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Sun Yat-sen University and a Ph.D. in Offshore Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.

Xiaogang Fan

Technical Advisor, Naval Architecture and SPM Xiaogang is a single-point mooring specialist with 20 years of industry experience at companies including NOV-APL and CBI. His expertise covers internal and external turret systems, soft-yoke systems and CALM systems. He holds master’s degrees in Ocean Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.

David Yang

Technical Advisor, Subsea Structures David has 20 years of industry experience in offshore and subsea structural design, analysis, verification and classification classification. He has worked at ABS, Saipem, McDermott and CNOOC. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Tianjin University and a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.

Ray Chen

Technical Advisor, Hull Structural Engineering Ray is a senior structural engineer with more than 20 years of experience, including nine years in management. He specializes in deepwater jackets, floating structures and topside design and has worked at CIMC, Novellent and Offshore Tech. He studied Engineering Mechanics at Wuhan University of Technology.
